Owner: Patrick and Peggy Gray
Our C3 Corvette Fleet
Consists of: Peggy’s “Beauty”, a 1971 Stingray Coupe, purchased as a daily driver in September 1982, underwent a partial frame-on restoration which was completed in January 2006 with Custom Red Kandy Paint. Holley MPFI, HEI ignition, headers and over 362,000 miles on the original matching numbers engine.
Patrick’s “Beast” is a 1969 Blue Stingray Convertible, which was our swamp rescue, found in May of 2005 and had been the home for wayward squirrels for approximately 4 years. Re-powered with a 600CI fuel injected & blown engine with 475HP @ 4200RPM and 825 ft lbs of torque @ 2200 RPM with E85 fuel.
The third is our 1971 White LT1 Stingray Convertible and was rescued from a barn in October 2006, which hadn’t run in approximately 3 years and had been home for mice. This one is mostly stock and a very nice driver when one of the other two are down for maintenance. (Everyone should have a “spare” Vette!)
All three have 4 speed manual transmissions.
All are daily drivers.
Both the 71’s have manual steering & brakes
