This is my 1975, still pretty much original, Stingray. It is a stock 350 with automatic transmission, power steering, brakes, windows and air conditioning. The engine and drive train are original with 95,000miles on them. As you can see in the photos when I bought it it had the wrong rear bumper and 4 paint jobs on it. Two red, one white, and it was originally a white vehicle. I stripped every bit of four paint jobs off of the car, one coat at a time. I replace the rear bumper with a factory rubber bumper however it was from a 1976 so it does not have the correct CORVETTE badging on it for a '75.
The car was painted in 2000 and over the years I have replaced many parts. It has been an ongoing project, but every now and then when it wins a trophy it makes the effort worth it. My "Dream Corvette" would be a 1963 split window coupe. I was 16 years old when that car came out and I've wanted one ever since. However now that I see that the next generation Corvette might be built on the style of the Corvette from the Transformer movie I might now have a new "Dream Corvette". Everyone needs a Dream. Right? A
"STREETDREAM".
